Fun & Fulfilling Sabbath Day Activity

Autumn & I had to be up bright & early this morning since I had ward council meeting. Plus, the Bishop wanted us to meet 30 minutes earlier than usual so we would have extra time to go over the goals we have to submit to the Stake for the year.

Young Women's was really really good. Sis. C taught about "Why is Jesus Christ important in MY life?" We had a great discussion and the Spirit was really strong. After church it was great to not have any meetings. Autumn & I came home, I made lunch, and then tried to find a way to help us keep the Sabbath Day holy instead of just plopping down in front of the TV for the rest of the day.

We decided to make some chocolate chip cookies and take them around to people in the ward. We took some to Autumn's 2 primary teachers from last year. They are 2 great men and I think that Primary teachers often get overlooked and are under appreciated. Then we dropped some off at Judy's house b/c it's her birthday today. It was fun to see Emma Dog & give her some snuggles. We dropped some off to Dalin to let him know we love him. Our final stop was to Bro. F the 1st counselor in the Bishopric. He does so much and often gets overlooked too. It was a fun & fulfilling way to spend our Sabbath Day afternoon. Plus, we got to eat yummy chocolate chip cookies too.
