It was so nice to sleep in this morning. Autumn & I turned on the Rose Bowl Parade once we woke up. The escadrille from our town was marching in the parade. Several young women from our ward are in the band & color guard. We looked for them, but didn't see any of them. We recorded the parade on 3 separate channels but none of them showed the color guard. Aunt Jana & Uncle Keith were actually at the parade, and she texted me this picture. Pretty cool!
Autumn & I got dressed and went to see the new Star Wars movie. Everyone in the theater started clapping & cheering when Han Solo came on the screen. It was a really good movie, and we both enjoyed it.
We spent the rest of the day just relaxing and getting a few things done around the house. I was so happy to see that Autumn's picture was posted on Becky Higgin's Facebook page again. YAY! Today didn't feel like the start of a new year to me for some reason. It felt like just another day.
