FHE About Prayer

Our A/C wasn't working last night, so I called to have it looked at. Luckily it was just a really dirty filter. Once they replaced it, the A/C worked fine. It was so nice to come home to a cool house.

Nate didn't join us for FHE tonight, b/c he was working. But, Nick was off and it was nice to have him with us. After dinner Riannon gave us a lesson, and I had had Nick prepare one too. They both talked about prayer! It was super good, and something that Riannon said really stood out to me.

"What can we learn from all of this? Prayer is extremely important. It is how we talk to God. How awkward will it be if we get to heaven and meet God face to face and He says to us, 'Well, it's nice to finally talk.' That would be very sad. In contrast, how wonderful it would be to hear Him say, 'Riannon (or Lisa or Autumn or Nick, etc) how wonderful it is to finally talk in person. Let's pick up our conversation where we left off this morning.'"

After FHE, we wanted to talk so we put on Frozen for the girls.

 Autumn was so excited that X-Men were the faces on Snapchat today.

Olivia looked super creepy in this one ... almost like a Chucky doll!
