Meet You Halfway

 Autumn had an orthodontist appointment today after school. He checked the spacing we did w/ her expander. He said everything looks great, and he "activated" her Herbst and put some little rings on it that will move it 1 mm. Autumn did great!

 

 I called Frank when we got done to see what he was up to. He said that he & Spencer had just gotten done at the doctor's. Since it was only 4:30 I threw out the idea of us meeting 1/2 way to have dinner together. We both loved the idea of being spontaneous, so we decided to just do it! Autumn & I hit the road and headed north while they headed south. We were so excited to cross the border into Oklahoma.

 

 We met in a little town that was about halfway. We ended up going to Chili's for dinner. It was soooooooo wonderful to see them again and spend time together. I'm especially thankful that Spencer wanted to get together b/c he wasn't feeling very good.

 

After dinner we went to WalMart to get a few groceries I needed. I LOVE how Autumn already looks up to Spencer like an older brother. They are so stinkin' cute together and he is so good and kind to her. It was hard to say goodbye to them, but we're so thankful for the few hours we got to spend w/ them. It was totally worth the 3 hour round trip drive.
