Little Miss Bug-A-Boo & I had cabin fever this evening & needed to get out of the house so we had a little Mommy/Daughter date (Autumn stayed home to do homework). Our first stop was to Buc-ee's. I have been craving a melty ham sandwich, so we got that and shared it in the car for dinner.
Then we drove to a nearby shopping center to walk around and see the lights. It was cold, but Alisa loved being outside.
She kept wanting to go up and down the stairs to be close to the Christmas tree & lights.
At one point during our walk she must have gotten tired, b/c she plopped down on the ground and then proceeded to lie down on the ground for a good 20 seconds. LOL!

We walked down this alley, which brought back a lot of great memories, b/c Frank & I took some wedding pictures here.
It finally got too cold and windy, so we called up Papa & Mimi to see what they were up to. Papa was working at the free clinic, & Mimi said we needed a treat. So I stopped by Chick-fil-A to try a peppermint shake & a warm chocolate chip cookie. Mimi wanted a salty treat so I got fries at McDonald's and we went over there to hang out for a little bit. Alisa is so active, but it was good to talk to Mimi alone for a little bit.
