Autumn had wanted to take Papa & Mimi to see the musical tree last night, but Papa was sick w/ the flu so it had to be postponed until tonight. We ate dinner and then headed over to the tree. We brought some marshmallows and a telescoping stick to roast them. It didn’t work super well b/c in order to get them close enough to the fire they kept lighting on fire (you can see Dad holding one that’s on fire over the grate).
I noticed a cute cupcake store across the street that I have never noticed before, so I had to go over and check it out. I LOVED the pink & black polka dot chairs. I also liked the cupcakes pictures & centerpieces. I got a vanilla flavored one b/c if the vanilla one is good then the others usually are too. I also got a coconut cream one, b/c I love me some coconut.
They were good, but definitely not worth the $3.99 I paid for each of them. I made sure to get some forks to share w/ everyone. Autumn would go dance and run around the Christmas tree when music was playing and then she would come and have a bite of cupcake when she was taking a break.
We sat by the fire to stay warm, but it was mostly for looks b/c it didn’t produce very much heat. I am glad we had this flannel blanket that Aunt Sandy made b/c it kept us warm. After this, Autumn & I went to WalMart to return some things I had gotten for the kitchen but my cabinets aren’t tall enough. We ran into 3 different families from church. Then we came home and I put Autumn to bed and unpacked some more. I got a LOT accomplished tonight, which feels good.
