Sock Curls & Dangerfields

Today after work/school, we went over to Mom & Dad’s and had home made tacos.  Then Autumn went with me to go visiting teaching as my partner since I still haven’t heard from my assigned teaching partner.  After the visit, we went over to Dangerfield’s to say hi b/c I haven’t seen them in a long time and they are moving soon.  Ruthie showed me this new way to do Autumn’s hair.  You take a sock and cut the toe part of it off and then roll it into a round circle.

Next, you put your hair in a ponytail on top of your head and pull your hair through the sock circle.  Then you wrap the end of your hair around the sock and start rolling down.  When you’re done, it looks like this.  You leave it in overnight w/ damp hair and in the morning, it’s dry and you have curly hair.  HERE is a video that shows it better than I can explain it.  Autumn looked SO CUTE w/ her hair like this so I think I could just keep her hair like this and then have the curls as another hairdo the next day.

I also got to see Marcus, who is leaving tomorrow for his first assignment as a flight attendant.  He just finished training and I’m so happy for him.  It is always a party at the Dangerfield’s house.  We laughed and had so much fun.  Autumn hit her 2nd wind and was a wild and crazy woman and was cracking everyone up.

We came home and I put her to bed and worked on my MPLife.  After a few hours, Nick had on Whose Line and Autumn woke up and came in the living room and crashed on the chair.  I picked her up (which is getting harder to do b/c she’s getting so big) and we went to bed.
