Aunt Jeri’s New “Firsts” & No More Zipper Spider

Tonight we went to Mom & Dad’s and had stuffed bell peppers for dinner and then we busted out a new 1,000 piece puzzle that Mom & Aunt Jeri got while they were out shopping today.  Aunt Jeri said that she got to experience 2 new “firsts” today.  She had her first pedicure ever and she also got her eyebrows done.  She said it felt so nice to be pampered.  I’m so glad she’s here and that we get to spend time w/ her, especially Autumn.

We were SO SAD to see that the zipper spider & her web are gone tonight.  She was moving so slowly yesterday, she never repaired her web from the other day when we pulled the grub out.  So, we’re pretty sure she died.  Hopefully her babies in the egg sack will hatch soon.  It’s like we have our own Charlotte’s Web story going on in our own backyard.  I should read that book to Autumn & have her watch the movie.

I was finally able to pull myself away from the puzzle to take Autumn home and put her to bed.  Then when Nick got home from work at 9:30, I went over to Christine’s so we could watch episode 2 of Downton Abbey.  We spent most of the time talking about the new ward changes and what that means.  I realized that none of them are in my ward anymore!  I love them all so much.  That’s why getting together on Monday nights is more important to me now than ever before!
