Mom said everyone was on their own tonight for dinner b/c she & Aunt Sandy were busy sewing. I got Autumn from daycare & we decided to splurge & treat ourselves to our favorite Italian food. We always share this plate b/c it’s a huge portion & it’s expensive.
Autumn has learned from me that the real use for the rolls they give you w/ the dinner is to use them to scrape up every last bit of sauce.
As you can see from our plate … I’ve taught her well! We had to restrain ourselves from literally licking the plate clean b/c the sauce is that delicious!
We came home & she got busy working on her homework. I noticed that she lays her head down on her arm when she writes, which is what I do, too!
After homework, it was time for her to take a nice long bath. She likes to soak in the water & play. Footloose was on CMT & I can’t believe that this movie is 30 years old as of Feb 17th of this year!!! That makes me feel super old. It’s such a classic. Autumn liked watching this part w/ the tractors & then the part where he’s dancing in the warehouse. Don’t worry, I didn’t let her watch the part where Ariel plays chicken w/ the train … I don’t want her getting any crazy ideas!
