Autumn's First "Father's" Blessing

Today in church we had an "instant woman's choir" for the intermediate hymn. All the women were invited to come up and sing. I could NOT keep the tears from flowing, b/c the Spirit was so strong as I looked around at all these women that I know & love & get to serve with. Frank snuck this picture. of some of us.

For dinner tonight, Frank made "dookie stew." It's stew meat w/ potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, etc. They eat it LOADED w/ a bunch of crushed up Saltine crackers & ketchup on top. I ate mine w/ just some cheese on top and it was really really good! Gotta love a man that can cook!

After dinner, we went over to Nick & Savi's to check and see if we could find a water leak. Mom called earlier in the week to say their water bill was FOUR times the usual amount the past few months!!! We found one spot & got that shut off, so we're hoping that fixes the problem. While we were out looking, we also found this big old hole under the bushes. We're wondering if it's an armadillo down in there???

It was great to see Savi's Mom, too. She flew in on Friday to spend a few months w/ Savi & the new baby.

We came home, and then Frank gave Spencer & Autumn a "Father's blessing" before the start of school tomorrow. It was SO TENDER to see Autumn give him a hug after. She said, "this is the first time that my Dad has given me a blessing ever." It's always been Papa or Curt or someone else for her whole entire life. I could NOT stop the tears from falling. I also asked for a blessing, and it was a very spiritual experience. I'm beyond thankful for Frank & the Priesthood that he holds & honors.
