I'm so happy that we had to take 2 cars to church today, b/c that means we had almost all of the kids w/ us. It's crazy to think in January of this year that it was just Autumn & I sitting on a small bench by ourselves. And then fast forward to today and we took up almost a big long bench all by ourselves! Frank bore his testimony today & not only made me, but several other people cry b/c of how sincere & tender it was.
I got to teach Relief Society today & I focused on this scripture in Alma 19:06 ~ and the light which did light up his mind, which was the light of the glory of God, which was a marvelous light of his goodness - yea, this light had INFUSED SUCH JOY INTO HIS SOUL, the cloud of his darkness having been dispelled, and that the light of everlasting life was LIT UP IN HIS SOUL."
Those words in capital letters really struck me. I found a FABULOUS talk about light, which we discussed. It's called "The Light of the Perfect Day" by Elder Larry R. Lawrence. The discussion went really well, and I appreciate so much all of incredible thoughts & insights that the Relief Society sisters share.

We came home, changed into comfy clothes, and had creamy crock pot chicken for dinner. It was so nice to sit around the table together and share what we had learned at church. I'm thankful for each & every person in this picture. My heart is FULL!!!
Frank & I started this self reliance class tonight. I'm really excited about it, and am looking forward to having to study & learn & grown & exercise my mind. It's been a long time since I've done any type of official learning for a class, so I think it's going to be great. Plus, it's super great that Frank & I get to do it together. I love that it's spiritually as well as temporally focused!
When we got home, Frank was watching some old home movies on his laptop and pretty soon the 3 older boys were in there w/ him. I snuck my camera around the corner & stealthily got this picture. It makes me so happy. I really appreciate that Frank & his boys have such close & loving relationships. He really is a fabulous father!
