Project Life Pinners Conference

I got up this morning to go get my nails done, & Autumn decided that she wanted to go w/ me. It's a good thing she did, b/c she was able to get her eyebrows waxed. They were way past due! After nails, we went to Winco to get treats from their bulk bins for General Conference. We cut out the pictures of the 15 Apostles (3 First Presidency & 12 Apostles) & put each picture on a treat. Then, when that person speaks we get to eat that treat.

The kids were good about listening to General Conference (most of the time). During the musical numbers they'd need to burn off some pent up energy & would rough house. LOL!

I was only able to watch the first morning session, b/c then I had to leave for the Pinners Conference in Arlington. I hadn't planned on attending when I first heard about it, b/c Autumn also had a cheer game today. But, Becky Higgins posted on social media that they needed help in their booth, and I was ALL OVER THAT!!!

I'm so glad that I got chosen to help out in the booth for 5 hours on Saturday afternoon. A lot of people at Pinners had heard of Project Life, but didn't really know what it was. I had a blast sharing w/ them how it's the easiest & most convenient way to scrapbook & how it's completely changed the way I scrapbook.

It was so FABULOUS to meet these AMAZING women in person that I see on Becky's social media posts. I felt like I already knew all of them. The Wonderful Wendy

 Magnificent Molly

Charismatic  Kari

And of course, the ONE & ONLY Becky herself. I found my Project Life pages from back in November 2013 when I got to be on Creative Live w/ Becky. I took those & showed them to her as a fun "blast from the past." It was fun to give her an update & let her know I'm married & pregnant now. She was super happy & genuinely excited for me. I just love her!!!

After Autumn's cheer game, Frank & the kids stopped by the conference to give me a Chick Fil A sandwich. I hadn't really eaten lunch (although I had some snacks hidden behind the black curtain in the booth), so it was super nice to take a break & eat.

Becky was getting ready to leave & go to the airport, so Autumn begged me to come to the booth & get a picture w/ Becky. She was on CLOUD NINE & kept saying how cool it was to meet all of these "celebrities."

I know what she means, b/c I feel the same way. I tried not to be too awestruck, but it was so awesome to get to meet them & hang out w/ them.

Frank & the boys went to go walk around & kill some time. Autumn opted to stay & wait for me to finish. She sat at a table & played some games on my cell phone. I'm glad she got this picture of me working in the booth.

Frank & the boys came back at 6:45 to help break down the booth. The show wasn't technically over until 7:00, so we just hung out for a little bit. I love this man so much!

The boys were a HUGE help w/ getting the booth broken down.

There were also a lot of other helpers there counting up the inventory that wasn't sold so it could be boxed up & shipped back.

Autumn & I were sent to go and get packing tape at a nearby WalMart b/c we were about to run out. By the time we got back, everything had been taken down & they were rolling up the padded flooring.

We got everything loaded into the crate & had to get a pic of all the helpers. It was SO MUCH FUN & I'm beyond thankful I got the opportunity to help.

We were all STARVIN' MARVIN by this point since it was 9:00. The kids had worked really hard to help pack everything up, so we went to Cheddars as a thank you treat to them. We got home at 11:00, did scriptures, prayer, & everyone went to bed. We'll all sleep super well tonight!!!
