This year for Halloween, Autumn wanted to incorporate her new braces into her costume, so she went as Darla Sherman from Finding Nemo.
Darla Sherman
She did a NICE Darla, and this is her MEAN Darla.
It was supposed to rain, but luckily the rain blew through the area & all was dry by the time for the party. The A family was AWESOME & offered to host it, even thought that meant A LOT of kids inside the house b/c it was too wet & cold to be outside on the lawn. All in all, there were THIRTY-ONE (yes, 31) kids in the house at one point. That was a chore trying to get them to all sit still on the stairs & smile at the camera.
Here are the adults that are responsible for all those kiddos!
Frank & the boys showed up late, b/c they were finishing up a job. It was nice to sit in a quiet house & talk w/ them while they ate. Everyone brought something to share & we had pulled pork sandwiches, chips, 7 layer bean dip, drinks, cookies, cupcakes, soup, and "mummy dogs." Spencer went as Michael Jordan (he wore a Jordan jersey) & Grant went as a punk rocker. He even carried around his guitar & sang songs while we walked the neighborhood.
Every year Autumn likes to lay out her candy in organized piles. Her hair cracks me up in this picture! LOL!
Autumn's hamster, Turbo, died on Saturday night and we have been so busy that we kind of forgot! We finally got Frank to get him out of the cage for us so we could have a little burial for him. Poor Turbo!
