Frank still wasn't feeling well this morning, so he stayed home. It was the Primary Program in sacrament meeting today, and Autumn did a good job. I was laughing, b/c she refused to do any of the signs to one of the songs. She still has one more year left before moving up to Young Women's. Little stinker! LOL. We came home after sacrament to rest & take care of Frank.
Nate had a SUPER SCARY incident happen tonight. He was on the frontage road heading back to the police station to write up a drunk driver report. He said he looked in his rear-view mirror, and had about 2 seconds to brace for impact before a white car flying up the frontage road ran straight into the back of him.
He said it spun his police SUV around 2 times, and everything was in slow motion. He said he looked out the window as he was spinning and saw that car that hit him roll several times and then finally land upright in the grass!
The white car hit a light pole that fell across the road, so Nate was able to maneuver his damaged police SUV to block it so that cars coming up the frontage road wouldn't hit it. He got out and went to check on the other driver. He said he was fine with just a few scratches. When another officer took the guy to the hospital, he tested over DOUBLE the legal limit for alcohol!!!
We are so thankful that Nate is OK and is just sore from the impact. He went to the chiropractor and said that helped alleviate a lot of the achy-ness.
I can't post any pictures, b/c it's still under investigation.
