The concert didn't get over until late last night, and then they had to drive back to the cabin from Tulsa. So, Frank & Grant slept in a little today and then drove back home. YAY! I'm so thankful they're home safe and that they had a great time. Frank decided he'd had enough of his beard & he saved it off. But, not before having some fun. He did this handlebar mustache.
Going for the Uncle Rico look from Napoleon Dynamite. "Okay, turn your head on more of a slant. Now, make a fist. Slowly ease it up underneath your chin. This is looking really good. Now just imagine you're weightless in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by tiny little seahorses. That was a good one. I think that's gonna come out really nice." BA HA HA!!!

So handsome! I think he looks great with a beard too, but when I saw him for the first time tonight, I was shocked by how much younger & thinner he looks without a beard. ♪ ♫ Reunited and it feels so good. Reunited 'cause we understood. ♪ ♫
A few weeks ago Frank was talking about the movie La Bamba. I said I had never seen it and he was beyond shocked. So, he got it and we watched it tonight. Now I know why I'd never seen it ... there are some naughty parts that we had to fast forward & there's some bad language. I was so sad at the end to find out that Ritchie Valens dies at the young age of 17, just 8 months after his career started. So sad! It was good to spend time together as a family. We're so happy to have Frank & Grant back home.
