Easter At The Farm 2018

We got up early this morning, loaded all our stuff and the kids in the truck, and headed over to Nate & Riannon's. We help load the back of Frank's truck & Nate's truck w/ stuff from Grandpa Johnson's house that Uncle Robert had claimed. Then we hit the road. We got to Robert & Sandy's house around 11:00, unloaded the furniture & chairs & stuff out of the back of the trucks, and then headed to the farm. Frank & I got to hide all the Easter eggs (there were A LOT of them) before everyone else came out to the farm.

We made all the kids (and Tyler) get together so we could get a group picture before they took off after eggs. I was thinking how crazy it is this year that Autumn used to be one of the cute little toddlers and now she's one of the big kids! Time FLIES!

Tyler had them line up and let the little kids go first and then held back the big kids as long as he could. LOL. They were so antsy to go find some eggs.

It's so wild to think that Frank & I were just engaged last year at the farm for Easter & now we're married and less than a month away from having a baby! I'm so thankful for my HOTTIE HUSBAND!

Jackson got the biggest collection of eggs & he was so proud of himself. LOL. Although none of the kids went without and there were PLENTY of eggs for everyone. I brought a bag of chocolate candies just for the adults.

I am SO PROUD of Nick for driving all the way out there. They were going to follow us, but we had to leave too early & he didn't want to feel the pressure of having to keep up w/ us. GO NICK!

Zack & Sharri weren't there, b/c Sharri just had a baby girl last week. Uncle Robert was cute w/ keeping track of Eli so at least he could come and have fun.

I think Spencer wins for having the most fun. Before the day was over, he was shirtless and covered in mud. He had the time of his life!

Nate went and caught a chicken and sat and petted it. We were all laughing about how he looks like an evil villain w/ his pet chicken.

Cute 2nd cousins (or is it first cousins once removed)??? Either way, it was cute to see the small kids interacting.

Autumn has grown up & matured so much. She was such a good helper w/ the younger kids and I just know she's going to make the best big sister. Usually I go out w/ Uncle Robert to the pond to help the kids w/ fishing but this year I was lazy and just sat and relaxed around the campfire w/ the other adults.

Brooke was also a good helper (her & Autumn are just a few weeks apart in age) & caught a chicken for Olivia to love on. We had such a great time being together w/ family & celebrating Easter. Sandy had pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips, a veggie tray, fruit salad, and smores stuff. We brought drinks.

We finally packed our crew up at 4:00 & hit the road for home. I was so tired but stayed awake to talk to Frank & keep him awake too. We got home, all took showers b/c we reeked of campfire, I made an easy dinner of Hamburger Helper, and then the kids watched TV and emptied their eggs of all the candy & Autumn organized the candy. LOL. What a FUN DAY!
