Meet Ya Halfway

 I went into work this morning for a few hours even though I wasn't feeling 100%. I had some credit cards to charge & things to take care of that I couldn't do at home. I left a noon, ran by Costco to get a pizza and a few other things, came home, got Autumn, and we hit the road. We met Lexie & Jon halfway at a McDonald's. I found this Wonder Woman bag at the $1 store & knew I had to get it for Lexie b/c she's obsessed w/ Wonder Woman.

 We got a late lunch (thanks Mimi) and sat and talked for a few hours. We wanted to wait until 5:00 traffic died down in Dallas & Waco before parting ways. They were going to come up to the farm tomorrow to celebrate Easter but Lexie sent a text last night saying she couldn't make herself do it (due to depression). I didn't want the 2 older boys to miss out on all the fun so I offered to meet them halfway & take Andrew & Jackson.

 I felt bad not taking Adam, but I just don't have the stamina right now to chase him around the farm and give him the constant watching that he would need.

Lexie made this blanket for Autumn & told us it was a pure labor of love and that she'll NEVER make one w/ flowers again. She said figuring out how to attach the flowers to the blanket & where to place them was so stressful. Autumn LOVES it and it made her feel super special.

We said our goodbyes and they headed south to home and we headed north to home. What's funny is that Frank went even further north b/c he was meeting Spencer's Mom halfway to drop Spencer off to spend his birthday weekend up in Oklahoma. We both got home tonight tired and ready to get some rest for all the partying we'll do tomorrow.
