Frank & I both happened to be awake this morning at 5:30. His shoulder was hurting & I had to get up to use the restroom (baby girl was pushing on my bladder). He said he was hungry & asked if I wanted to go on a spontaneous date to IHOP. Sure! Why not? We've got to seize these alone moments together before the baby gets here. So, we got dressed and dragged our tired selves to IHOP for breakfast. It was so much fun. I'm so thankful for him!
We came home and both back went to sleep for several more hours, which was so nice. Then we went to Spencer's first basketball game w/ a city league. He's missed playing basketball so much, so we got him signed up on a random team. They've never played together before, b/c he was in Oklahoma last weekend when they had their first practice. They didn't end up winning, but he still had fun playing bball again.
Autumn & I left to go get our hair done. The hair appointment had to be rescheduled twice b/c once I was sick & once Hanah couldn't do it. Autumn decided to donate 10" of her hair to a charity that makes free wigs for kids w/ cancer!
I am so proud of her! She has the biggest heart. She looks so cute & GROWN UP w/ shorter hair. My little bug is growing up way too fast for my liking.
I got my hair highlighted and some more layers put in. We came home, got cleaned up, and then Liz came over. We went to see Lori's daughter, Ava, perform in her dance show. Liz said that she used to dance for this school's rivals back when she was in high school!
Autumn loves getting to see Ava perform. It was fun to spend the evening w/ good friends and to appreciate the hard work & talent that these girls have.
