Frank took the boys back to Oklahoma today, b/c it's their Mom's turn to have them for 2 weeks. We had to get a cute selfie before he left, b/c we were lookin' good.
I had to go in Grant's room to put some clean clothes on his bed. I noticed an empty soda bottle sticking out from underneath his bed, so I bent down to pull it out. This is what I ended up finding under his bed & also upstairs where the boys hang out (the light was on up there, so I had to go turn it off). I was NOT HAPPY to say the least. I texted this to all the boys and told them this is completely unacceptable & that we will no longer be allowing food or drink of any type in their rooms. I am not their maid and they need to clean up after themselves.
We had to go to WalMart to get a few things, and we were both starving so we stopped at Subway's and shared a sandwich & chips & drink before shopping. It's never a good idea to shop on an empty stomach. We talked about how we used to do this all the time, and how fun it was to just be us girls (Alisa included) again for a little bit.
Autumn got some new sandals, b/c she only has one pair of sandals that she wears to church, and they are literally falling apart. Autumn would have more clothes & shoes, but she's so stinkin' particular about how things look & feel. These were a score at just $6! They look huge here b/c her feet are resting on the table, but they actually fit her perfectly and are a women's size 9!!!
We're thankful Daddy made it home safe after dropping the boys off in Oklahoma. Baby girl would NOT let go of his shirt & had a death grip. So funny! It's like she's roughing him up & telling him what to do.
