Country Roads

This morning it was Grampsy taking over the cooking that GrannyMom got started. They are such a great team & inspiration to me.

After breakfast, Frank disappeared into one of the back bedrooms and came out wearing this outfit. I guess it's his old motorcycle vest, Grampsy's shirt, and GrannyMom's Dad's hat. GrannyMom also put on one of her Dad's old hats. LOL!

I thought Frank looked SMOKIN HOT in his outfit. This might be one of my new favorite pictures of him. YOWZA!!!

Frank was bored and wanted to show me around. We took some gravel/dirt back country roads and ended up stopping by his best friend's grave site to pay our respects.

He saw a sign for a garage sale and pulled in. At first I was annoyed, b/c I did not want to stop. But, I'm glad we did b/c we ended up finding some GREAT deals on overalls for Grampsy & some cute dresses for baby girl.

We stopped by Frank's high school so I could see where he went to school & was a basketball star. One of the doors was open, so we stuck our head in. Come to find out, Ms. C was there cleaning and she remembered him! So fun!

After that, we stopped by Marissa's house to say hi to her & Aubrey. If I remember correctly, this is the first time that the 2 baby girls met!

It's so funny that Alisa is almost 5 months younger than Aubrey, but Alisa is Aubrey's aunt. LOL! Such cute baby girls. I loved seeing our baby hold hands with our grandbaby.

By this time, it was lunch and we were all hungry. Frank wanted to take us to a Mexican restaurant in town. It was super delicious!

Then we walked down the street to one of the only clothing stores in town to look around. He ran into 2 good friends from back in the day & they spent almost an hour talking and catching up on old times. We ended up leaving w/ a new pair of cowboy boots for Frank.

Grampsy was super happy w/ the overalls we found that are big enough for him. GrannyMom got out some of his old ones that don't fit anymore, so we all tried them on. We're going to use these for our church talent show next year.

Frank went to town to pick up the boys, and when they got back they hooked up this huge branch that fell during the storm yesterday. It was super lucky that it fell the way it did, b/c otherwise it would have smashed the front part of the yellow cabin!

 Spencer & Baby Girl

The boys went outside to play baseball for a little bit before it got dark.
