Girl's Day Out & Julian's Play

We had a Girl's Day Out trip today. I have owed Autumn crepes for helping me & Dad with Bitters a few different times. Today was finally the day she got to cash in on it. She even got to invite a friend to come.

Autumn got the strawberry cheesecake one & Lam got the chocolate covered strawberries one. I got a savory Italian one that was delizioso.

As we were walking around, we saw that they had free hayrides, so we hopped into the trailer and away we went.

Alisa had fun waving at everyone. She's crying in this pic b/c she wanted to be down running around instead of being held. That's why we have to use the butterfly backpack/leash!

After the hayride, the girls wanted to go to Braum's for ice cream so we did that and then they wanted to go to Ross to shop. I thought for sure Bitters would be asleep and I could just sit in the car while she slept. No such luck! So, we went inside w/ the girls and I kept Bitters entertained by feeding her veggie straws. That scratch by her eye is from a time when she & Aubrey were fighting & Aubrey got too close. OUCH!

After we dropped Lam off, we came home and just vegged out the rest of the evening. I looked up and saw her sitting in her chair w/ one of her fake remotes acting like she was changing the channel. It made me smile so I had to snap a pic.

She loves to sit in the triangle between Autumn's legs and the couch while she drinks her baba and watches TV.

Frank was able to go to Julian's play today. He played the part of Perchik, a radical student from Kiev who later marries Hodel.

I'm glad Frank was able to go. He said Julian did a great job, and based on the video he sent of Julian singing a duet w/ his stage partner I would agree. It makes me miss my days in the theater in high school.
