New Burger Joint

The kids didn't have school today, so Frank suggested we go try this charcoal burger place he had heard about. When we pulled up I was excited, b/c it's little dives like this that usually have some of the best food.

 Everyone really enjoyed their food. We all agreed it was good enough to come back to someday, but not a "can't live without" type of thing.

 After we ate there, we walked across the street to check out this cute old fashioned candy store. The best part of this picture is Frank's facial expression in the mirror while he was trying to get Alisa to smile. LOVE HIM!

 Alisa found this teddy bear and did NOT want to let it go. Luckily we were able to distract her enough to get it away from her without a full melt down.

 She LOVES to FaceTime w/ Papa & Mimi. Today we got a special visitor on the call. They were watching Spencer & Rosalind so Riannon & Olivia could have some one-on-one time.

 I made this Bear Creek soup for dinner tonight and it was a big hit, which is a big deal since Frank and the boys aren't big fans of soup. I added a can of canned chicken from Costco w/ some croutons & cheese on the side. Everyone ate it up. I love meals like this b/c they're super cheap (about $3 at WalMart), it's super fast, and it makes enough to feed everyone. Everyone voted to include this in the meal rotation.

I love watching Alisa sometimes. She zones in on the TV (especially Wheels On The Bus by CoCo Melon) while drinking her bottle. Her expressions are so cute.
