I can't believe that I'm almost a year behind on my blog!!! AHH! I have A LOT of catching up to do. Life has just been insane the past year with Alisa & working full time & on and on. Plus, when I got my new iPhone earlier this year, it changed the format of the pics from JPG to HEIC so now I have to convert them over first before I can post them. But I had these pics on my phone & was able to upload them.
Frank is the best Daddy & before Bitters woke up this morning he had a bath drawn for her & had made oatmeal for her breakfast. He's never filled the tub this full of bubbles before and you could barely see her head above all the bubbles.
Her facial expressions crack us up.
We call this one her "bitter beer face." LOL!
After she was all cleaned up & dressed, she sat in her recliner chair for a minute while we got ready. Can you say SPOILED ROTTEN?
She was so happy to wear her fancy shoes that Daddy got for her & show off her doctor's otoscope that came w/ her Doc McStuffins stand. Who knows ... maybe she'll be a doctor someday?
I am SO HAPPY that I saved some of Autumn's clothes so that I can do side by sides of her & Alisa in the same outfit. Both melt my heart & make me so happy! Autumn is on the left and Alisa is on the right.
Liz texted to ask if we were home so she could stop by and say hi. Right after I got off the phone w/ her, Mom called to see if we wanted to meet them at Chick-Fil'A for lunch so Alisa & Matthew could play together. OF COURSE! So, we all went there for lunch. It was so cute to see the kids playing together.
I LOVE all these people so much! I'm thankful we live close to family (and friends that are like family) so Alisa can be with them and create memories.
While waiting for our food, the kids were getting antsy so Papa & Frank had them playing bumper seats. LOL! They were loving it.
Tonight was our ward's Trunk-or-Treat. The girls had so much FUN even though it was SUPER COLD (42 degrees). It was a happy accident that Autumn was Winnie the Pooh & Alisa was Piglet. Autumn had asked to be Winnie The Pooh about a month ago b/c some girls at church were going to dress up in onesies like this and be TY Beanie Babies. Alisa was going to be something else for Halloween, but I found this Piglet costume of Autumn's & it was the warmest option so it won.
I wasn't sure what Alisa would do b/c she was just a baby last year at Halloween. But she knew exactly what to do and had so much fun walking around getting candy. She had a death grip on that bucket and was NOT about to let it go!
It's so fun having Nick & Savi in our ward. Nick was at work, but I got a picture of Savi, Matthew, & Sofia. CUTE!
I LOVE these 2 so much and LOVE the sweet relationship they have. I hope they're still this close and kind to each other as they continue to get older.
Alisa was so happy to share her treasures w/ Daddy.
At 9:00 tonight I had a sudden hankerin' for some good queso (and no, I'm not pregnant). So, we spontaneously jumped in the truck and went to Torchy's Tacos to get some. It was so YUMMY & definitely hit the spot.
