Rainy Trip To Oklahoma

I got up this morning, got some work done, and then packed up the car. We went & picked up our Honey Baked Ham (I had some gift cards I needed to use), went to Costco to get gas, went to the $1 Store to get white elephant gifts, and then we went to Papa & Mimi's to hang out w/ Lexie and her family before we hit the road for Oklahoma. Papa found these super comfy socks at Costco and got a pair for the adult girls in the family. Bitters wanted to try mine one b/c they have puppies on them.

I had heard that it was supposed to rain today, but we didn't hit rain until we got to Oklahoma, and then it was a torrential downpour. Everyone was driving about 30 miles an hour with our blinkers on for safety.

Autumn wanted to see if it was cold outside, so she rolled down the window. LOL!

Alisa was being really quiet, so we thought she was asleep. When Autumn checked on her, she saw this! Alisa had taken off her shirt and gotten a hold of a piece of pizza that Autumn left on the seat from lunch! She had pizza sauce all over her face! That kid!

We made it to Grannymom & Grampsy's safe and sound. For dinner, we had hamburgers, chips, baked beans, and then ice cream for dessert. We were so happy that Sariah got to come to spend time with us.

We needed to run into town for a few things, and Frank gave Alisa this plastic tarantula to hold while we walked around the store. She kept giving it kisses. Isn't it funny how kids aren't afraid of things until they're taught to be afraid?
