Happy Birthday, Alisa

How is it possible that our baby girl is TWO today!?!?!

She started off the morning with a fresh bath and she wanted to wear her Jasmine pajamas. She's taking a very important birthday call on the TV remote control. LOL!

Before we had the sacrament, she went around and gave everyone a hug all on her own without any prompting from me or Frank. It was so sweet!

After her nap, it was party time. I'm sad we couldn't invite family over to have a big party and Costco cake like we usually would. But, we made do and did a fun princess colored cake.

Everyone was cute about holding these little princess props in front of the castle background (thank you $1 store).

We wanted to do the cake mess outside so it would be easy to clean up. But it was so stinkin' hot! So Frank set up her bouncy house outside and had the water hose going to make it a wet bouncy house. Alisa thought she had died and gone to heaven! She had so much fun.

We were finally able to pry her away from that long enough to eat cake.

As you can see, things got pretty messy. She loved being able to be messy, b/c I do NOT do food messes usually. But I made an exception for her birthday.

Autumn & Alisa hosed off outside and even washed their hair w/ shampoo on the back patio.

This girl had so many outfit changes today! She wanted to wear her pretty princess church dress to play w/ her balloons and watch TV.

After dinner we did presents. She got a few small things (she already has way too many toys). She was so happy w/ this Princess Poppy doll. Her facial expression is worth all the work it takes to put together a birthday party.

Frank & I talk sometimes about how simple our life would be if Autumn was our youngest and we hadn't started all over with Alisa. But then we immediately talk about how we can't imagine our lives without Alisa and how she completes our family and how much joy she brings and how much we love her.
