Then we got cleaned up and Nick and I went and saw Dragon Wars. Not the best film ever, and I for sure will not go see it again, but it was OK. Plus, Nick liked it, and that's all that matters. I kept asking him what he wanted to do and he just kept saying he didn't care. He just wanted to spend time with his family is what he said.
So we stopped by the store to get a birthday cake, some corn on the cob and a few groceries. It's a tradition that on our birthdays my mom will fix us whatever dinner we want. He picked Shoyu chicken w/ rice and corn on the cob that we cooked on the grill. (By the way I highly recommend cooking corn on the cob on the grill. You don't even shuck them, you just throw them on as they are, and it is SO DANG GOOD). The candles on the cake say 24 b/c those were the only candles we had, but it's really his 22nd birthday.
So happy birthday to Nick. He is such an amazing person and brother. I know our family would not be complete without him and his wonderful personality. Everyone who meets Nick just loves him and can tell what a genuine and incredible person he is. He just radiates goodness, love, and happiness.
LOVE YA!
