An old favorite

Last night I was feeling kind of down and out, so I decided to break out an old favorite movie. It feels like cuddling up with warm fuzzy blanket when I watch this movie...it just makes me comfortable. I love the music, the scenery, the actors, and the story. I've decided that I am SO Kate Winslet's character (Mary Anne). She does not approve of hiding her emotions. She gets swept away by the dashing Mr. Willoughby (Jason in my life), only to have her heart broken by Willoughby when he turns out not to be the person she thought he was. It's just such a great movie, and it makes me happy to watch it. In college I used to fall asleep to a movie every night. It was either this one, Hope Floats, or Steel Magnolias. Another favorite of mine is the new Pride & Prejudice. Maybe I'll watch that one tonight!

WHAT'S ONE OF YOUR "COMFORT" MOVIES?

Hi Lisa
I just realized you had posted on my blog so I thought I would answer you back. Yup, Peggy is my half sister. She is doing well as far as I know. Wes just returned from Iraq today to be reunited with his wife and daughter. Kelsi and her husband are having their 3rd baby (another boy) in October, and Megganne is starting school and is still nannying in New York.
Stacy is one of my favorite people, he was the best brother in law growing up. The Johnson family is dear to our hearts.

small world indeed!
