It's nice to be appreciated

Today at church, my little 4-year old class was in charge of sharing time. It was about how sharing the gospel helps to bless the lives of others. We told a story about the Grouch Family and how a little boy at school shared the gospel with the sister of the Grouch Family. It changed their lives and gave them a warm fuzzy feeling. I had made little pom pom balls w/ googly eyes on them to give to everyone. Then in class we talked about sharing. I brought little boxes of Reese's Pieces for all the kids to take home and share with their families.

Tonight while I was sitting at home watching TV, there was a knock on the door. It was one of the more rambunctious boys in my class with his mom. They had a plate of cookies they had made using the Reese's pieces instead of chocolate chips, and this note that said Thank You. It totally made my day, and I thought that was SO NICE of them to do! It's nice to be appreciated.
