Young Single Adult Activity

There was a big regional young single adult activity this weekend that included all of Dallas/Ft. Worth. Liz, Liberty, Alison and I really wanted to go, so we made plans to drive over together since it was about an hour away. We met at my house and then headed over. They had big blow up bounce house things for adults, but we got there right as they were deflating them...dang it! Then there was this dating game, but it was lame, so we went over to the playground. While we were there, I saw a guy I used to date...Mou. So, we had him come and play with us at the playground.

This was no ordinary playground. It looked like a big space age bug. It was actually a lot of fun for us adults, but I have no idea how little kids would play on it. It was dangerous. There was no way I was about to jump or climb through those rings.

I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but this was a tall and twisty slide, but it had NO sides!!! How on earth are little kids supposed to go down this? Liz did a pretty good job of not falling off and breaking her neck.

There was also this seat that you just sat on it and would self-propel you around and around. I tried it out and it was so fun, and I was laughing like crazy, but then I got really dizzy after about 30 seconds.

Here's the group on the inverted monkey bars.

After playing for a while, we decided to climb up on this big rock to get a group picture. Liberty climbed right up there, and then it was Liz's turn.

She was having a bit of a hard time getting up, so Mou went over to help out...

...however, that didn't go too well as you can tell. Liz went from moving up to just laying on the rock. By this time we were all laughing so hard we couldn't breathe.

Finally, she made it up, and just kind of had to roll over into a sitting position. My stomach hurt so bad from laughing so hard. The whole thing took about 2 minutes, which seemed like forever.

Yeah! They made it! The playground and trying to get Liz up on the rock was the best part of the whole night. Oh, and Alison gave her phone number to a super cute guy, so I hope something happens there for her. By the time we were done playing on the playground, we headed back over to where they were playing the dating game, but it was over. So we left and headed home.

That looks like a blast, although I have to agree that it looks more like an adult playground than a kids. That is always nice to get out and have a good time with other adults. I think its so much harder to do with kids.

THat park for children is very sexual, if I do say so myself.
