Conference Weekend

This morning we woke up to the sound of someone climbing on the roof. We went outside, and Dad and Nick were trying to get these squirrels out of the chimney. They were able to save 2 baby squirrels.

They just laid there on the ground as still as could be pretending that they were dead, even though they weren't. This one finally got a little brave and got up and was walking around. Dad took them and put the 2 baby squirrels over in the bushes. Autumn was so concerned about them all day, even when we went inside she would look out the window and look worried about them.

This is how we spent part of conference...helping Mom take the paper off the back of this quilt she sewed. It was cool to see Nick & Nate jump in and help.

It was something we could all sit and do together. Even Autumn wanted in on the action and would take the pieces we would pull off and run them over to the trash.

"All done. TA-DA!"

Then I just HAD to get a picture of this. Mom had spent the whole morning doing all of the ironing, which was a LOT of ironing. After she was done, Nate did some ironing! I guess it's true what they say...there's a first time for everything. I just had to get this picture for proof.

After the 2nd session of general conference, Autumn and I went and filled my car with gas and then went and got a Slurpee in honor of Jason's 34th birthday today. When we would have the kids over on the weekend, we would always have Slurpee Saturday, so Autumn and I went and did that today. She drank almost that whole thing.

After she drank her Slurpee, it was off to play at the park. She wanted to go play in the water, but didn't really want to get wet. She just got close enough to put her hand in the water and then she would run away. She's so funny!

She did NOT want to leave and still wanted to stay and play eve though the sun was starting to go down. I thought this picture was cool.

I also really liked this picture of the sunset and how I was able to capture the water spilling out of the bucket. It was a fun evening out with Autumn Bottom, and the conference talks were great.
