This morning started out like a normal Sunday morning w/ Autumn having some breakfast w/ Papa.
She was a good girl at church and thought it was the coolest thing ever when I put some fruit snacks in the pockets on her dress. She loved it! And before church started she was a little monkey and kept running and throwing yourself onto Nick and was laughing like crazy! She cracks me up.
After a nap, it was time to get ready for the party. I think this picture is a perfect example of the saying, “Your eyes are bigger than your stomach.”
Everyone came over after church for the party. We had lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and Emily made this cute cake. It’s nice that all 3 of you have birthdays in January so we can celebrate all together. Don showed up right as we were getting to say the prayer. Everyone went around and introduced themselves. When we got to Tyler he shook Don’s hand and said, “Hi. I’m Autumn’s dad!” We all freaked out and were dying w/ laughter. It didn’t even phase Don and he fit right in w/ our crazy and fun family.
I got these glittery ballerina skirts, hats, and princess shoes at Target. You both looked so cute.
Here’s the three birthday girls.
Pretty Pretty Princess
When it was time for cake, Autumn took Heather’s fork and my fork and was using both of them to eat her cake. That’s my girl!
After cake and ice cream it was time for presents. It was so cute b/c Aunt Sandy got you both Pez dispensers. She got Brooke a Sleeping Beauty one and a Pocahontas one for Autumn!
Here are some of the crazy party goers donning their party hats. Tyler w/ a bag and Caleb (his facial expression is hilarious) wearing his bow.
After food and presents it was time to bust out the karaoke machine. Here’s Aunt Sandy & Nick belting out, “It’s My Party And I’ll Cry If I Want To.”
Then it was time for Uncle Robert and the 2 little boys to sing some Johnny Cash. The boys kept taking the mic from Uncle Robert, and they were all just laughing so hard and so were we. Don even got up there and sang a song w/ Emily and then a big group of us did YMCA. SO FUN!
Autumn got this adorable Cinderella dress from Aunt Sandy, but she didn’t want to wear it. So we got Shane to wear it along w/ the princess hat. He looks good!
I think that Autumn and Brooke and Heather had a good time. After all the partying and eating and karaoke Autumn and Brooke were sitting in the recliner together and started rocking back and forth really hard.
I absolutely LOVE this picture of Autumn and Brooke. Brooke’s hair is flying through the air and Autumn is doing one of her adorable deep belly laughs. This is the type of picture that makes every mother so happy. A picture of pure excitement and happiness and contentment. I hope Autumn had a GREAT birthday party and that she knows how much she is loved by everyone that knows her. I am SO LUCKY to be her Mom.
