What The Heck???

Today at lunch Alison and I went to Target for lunch.  I needed to get a new watch, b/c my old one quit working. I found this cool watch there and it just called out to me when I saw it…it is totally me!  I put it on as soon as I bought it and love it already.

Alison and I were driving home and noticed this weird looking thing on the back of the car in front of us.  Does anyone else think it looks like a really long, um, uh…something that rhymes w/ worm???

Tonight when I got home Dad was back-up again, but they didn’t need him to come in, and he got to stay home w/us tonight.  So, we watched Four Feathers.  It is SOOO GOOD!  I saw parts of it at the St. Patrick’s Day party on Saturday, but I was busy running around playing hostess and taking care of Autumn, so I didn’t get to see the whole thing.  It has Heath Ledger in it and is just a really great movie.  It’s kind of like Count of Monte Cristo (which is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time), b/c it appeals to everyone.  It has romance (for the women), intrigue, fighting (for the men), redemption, etc.  If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend that you go and rent it.

I decided to go on a walk tonight for my exercise instead of doing the elliptical.  I really like the elliptical b/c there’s hardly any impact on my knees and I like that it has a calorie counter so I can see how many calories I’ve burned.  But, the weather was so perfect tonight that I wanted to get out and enjoy it.  I love this time of year. I enjoyed the clean and fresh smell of dryer sheets from someone drying their clothes to the musky smell of foliage near the creek to noticing the mild change in temperature when going from the forested areas to the open areas.  Nature is incredible and I appreciate it so much.
