Flowers & Craigslist

IMG_9985 Today when I went to pick up Alison I noticed some new flowers growing in the flowerbeds.  I got out and just had to get some pictures even though it was raining.  Aren’t they GORGEOUS?

IMG_9986 I just wanted to pick one and put it in my hair and pretend like I was in Hawaii…too bad I had to get back in the car and come back to reality and take Autumn to day care and go to work.  But those flowers still brightened my day.

IMG_9988 Tonight we went over to Mom & Dad’s and when Dad got home from being back up at the clinic, we loaded in the truck and went down to Dallas to get this table that I bought off of craigslist.  I LOVE craigslist.  I was going to paint it and all of the chairs black, but that’s going to be WAY too much work, so we just sanded the top of the table b/c it’s a little worn and we’ll just stain it brown b/c it really is pretty natural wood.

IMG_9989 It also came w/ 6 chairs and I’m excited to have something to put in the formal dining room now instead of storing that I don’t know what to do with in there.  Now I just need to find some cool artwork to hang on the walls.  I’m not sure what to hang on the walls b/c it might be hard to match the color.  In this picture it looks orange, but the color really is more red.  I’m thinking just some black and white pictures might be cool.  Any suggestions???

The table is awesome! I seriously need a new one and new chairs. I just tried craigslist for the first time to sell my last crib, and it was awesome!

You should hang some of your flower pictures on the wall! You always have great ones.

check out this blog site. I just made this for my mom...a grandkid collage in primary colors. It is not way cheap, but cheaper than buying tonz to fill up the space. You could blow up some of your flower pictures to 12x12 or pics of family or just do scrapbook paper. Anyway, glad you are doing well. your house looks great!
