Happy Father’s Day 2009

I know most people think that they have the best Dad ever, but I think I might have to argue that point.  My Dad is a PHENOMENAL man and here’s why:

• He is by far the hardest worker I know.  He works out in the yard all day and then goes to work at the clinic all night.  He cannot sit still and just watch TV, he always has to be doing something productive.
• He is so spiritual.  He leads by example and reads his scriptures every day, goes to the temple once a week, taught seminary, goes to church at 9:00 b/c he can’t go at 11:00 when we go, etc.  I don’t say all of that to brag, but he really is one of the most spiritual men I know.
• He knows how to have fun.  He works hard so he can play hard.
• He knows how to fix anything and is so handy around the house.
• He treats Mom like a queen.
• He is so Christ-like and is always giving service to others.
• He is so intelligent and is always trying to learn new things.
• Family is the most important thing to him.  He is so amazing to Autumn, and she is so lucky to have him in her life.

Last night Nate & I were talking and saying how we wish we could be even half as amazing as Dad is.  We made him waffles this morning, and I wish there were something more we could do for him to let him know how much he means to us, b/c he really is the best Dad and Papa EVER!
