Fish & Figs

Today has been an emotional one for me.  I am thankful for friends and family who care so much for Autumn & I.  After work we stopped by Mom & Dad’s so Dad could write a prescription for Autumn b/c she has an ear infection.  Curt called while we were over there and told us to come over and have some fish.  Now let me tell you…I do NOT, I repeat NOT like fish AT ALL.  I’d rather just go hungry.  But, I was brave and tried this fish b/c it was fresh and it was surprisingly really good.  It didn’t taste fishy at all.  Mary’s Mom & Dad were over there too and they brought some fresh figs from their house.  I LOVE figs and they were so sweet and wonderful.  I love being over at their house b/c it’s so welcoming and inviting and comfortable.  I want that type of house someday…where everyone wants to be.

We came back home, and the little stinker behind me by the basketball hoops decided it would be funny to throw me in the pool.  Thank goodness he let me take my camera and cell phone out of my pocket before he threw me in.  I’m glad that Mom and I wear the same size clothes so that I had something to change into.  We vegged out and watched TV for a while and then went and got Autumn’s prescription.  I’m sure the ladies at WalMart thought I was white trash b/c I looked haggard and awful from being thrown in the pool and I was wearing Mom’s house coat.  Oh, well.  I don’t really care.  I just thought it was funny and I’m glad we got Autumn’s medicine so she can start feeling better.
