Sunday Smiles

IMG_1512 This morning was a typical Sunday morning of only getting to sleep in until 7:3o and then watching the Disney Channel in bed w/ Autumn.  We finally got up and had breakfast and then got cleaned up and got ready for church.  She looked so cute in this little navy sailor dress from Mary.  She didn’t want me to take her picture, but I was sneaky and made her laugh and got some cute pics anyways.

IMG_1513 Sorry this picture looks weird, it was too bright so I tried to adjust the lighting.  Oh, well.  She is such a cutie (when she’s not being naughty and having to sit in time out).  She was really good at church today, which was nice.

IMG_1514After church we came home and she took a nap.  I talked to Jeremy for about an hour.  It was so good to talk to him, b/c I really do think of him as the older brother I never had.  We just talked about what has been going on in our lives and how much we miss Tara.

I just laid on the couch and watched some TV.  A movie was on called One True Thing, and I didn’t watch the whole thing but from what I could tell, a mother had cancer and her daughter moved to home to help take care of her.  It was so sad and made me cry!  When Autumn woke up from her nap she came and laid next to me on the couch and I just rubbed her back and told her how much I love her and how happy I am that I get to be her Mom.  It was so tender and I hope she really understands how much I love her and how much she means to me.

The first thing she said to me when she got up her nap was, “Mimi house, fish.”  She wanted to go over and see the singing fish!  LOL!  Thank goodness Andrew took it home w/ him!  But, we went over to Mom & Dad’s house anyways to have some dinner and watch some football.  Autumn was in Mom’s room watching Pocahontas while I was working on scanning some pictures.  Next thing I know, she’s standing next to me saying, “poo poo.”  She had diarrhea running down both legs and onto the floor!  I yelled at Nate to bring me a towel and some cleaning stuff and I picked Autumn up and ran her into the bathtub to wash her off.  It was so gross and she hasn’t had a blow out like that in a LONG time (thank goodness).

Anyways, we spent the rest of the evening just watching football and relaxing.  Is it just me, or do the weekends seem to fly by and all of a sudden it’s Monday again?  At least this was a fun weekend!
