Visiting Teaching Get Together

I just noticed how all of my posts lately have been about food!  No wonder I’ve gained 6 pounds in the past few weeks.  Anyways, because it’s the second Tuesday of the month, we had visiting teaching.  I LOVE visiting teaching b/c we get together as a group of 6 women and go out to eat and we just sit and talk and share what’s going on in our lives.  Then we have a small spiritual thought.  It’s WAAAY better than regular visiting teaching.  I feel so much closer to these women than I have to any visiting teachers before.

We went to the Village Burger Bar, and it was actually pretty dang good.  I got the pesto chicken paninni and sweet potato fries.  It was incredibly delicious.  We sat and talked, and I’m mad at myself for not getting a picture of the lovely ladies.  We missed 2 of the gals that couldn’t be there.  After we ate and started getting eaten by mosquitoes, we left and walked over to Sephora to smell different perfumes and colognes.  I think the perfume I smelled that I liked the best was Dolce & Gabana Light Blue.  They didn’t have my new favorite cologne…Swiss Army.

Anyways, it was fun to have a night out w/ the ladies and I just love being around them.  They are all such wonderful women and I always leave our visiting teaching get togethers feeling better and happier.  I wish everyone could have such fun visiting teaching!
