Who Dat?

IMG_2876 Dat is my cute little princess.  She’s rocking the Valentine’s dress w/ some cute pink cowboy boots.  She’s such a little fashionista.

IMG_2879 Dat is my Happy Valentine’s Girl.  Yesterday I wondered how much she weighed and how tall she was.  She is 41 lbs and 40 inches tall.  I wondered if that was about average for a 3 year old…it’s NOT.  She is literally the size of an average 5 year old!  She’s going to be a tall girl, just like her mama.  I was always tall for my age, too.  She’s so adorable and is the love of my life.

IMG_2880 Dat is Autumn looking at her rainbow picture that Liberty drew for her.  I was asked to lead the music in sacrament meeting today, which I was glad to do, but I needed someone to sit w/ Autumn while I was up leading so she wouldn’t try to come up on the stand or be noisy.  So, Liz & Liberty were kind enough to sit w/ her (THANK YOU SO MUCH!).  Liberty drew her this rainbow to keep her entertained, and she LOVED it and insisted on taking it to nursery w/ her and wouldn’t let it out of her sight.  She was so good for them that I decided to stay up on the stand and take the opportunity to bear my testimony, which I haven’t been able to do in a long time b/c I didn’t have someone to sit w/ her.  It was nice to share my feelings about the Gospel.

IMG_2885  Dat’s Maggie making her supreme nachos for our Super Bowl Party.  They were so delicious and could rival any restaurant’s nachos.  Dat’s the Grill Master Master Griller (like the Berger Mister Mister Berger on that claymation Christmas movie).  Dad was in charge of grilling up the hamburgers and hot dogs.  We also had pasta salad, green salad, chips, homemade salsa, a relish tray, and then for dessert we had sheet cake eclairs.  It was quite the Super Bowl Party spread.

IMG_2883 We had the Monzingo’s and a few other extra friends over to watch the big game.

IMG_2886 Half of us were cheering for the Colts and half of us were cheering for the Saints.  I wanted the Saints b/c they were the underdogs and their franchise had never been to a Super Bowl before and the city of New Orleans could use a big win like this.

IMG_2887 Curt heard we had good food and that Autumn was awake, so he came over to see her and say hi.  We haven’t seen him in a while, so it was good to see him.  Autumn wanted to go over to his house to play and see Jessie and Mary, so she put on her shoes and grabbed his hand and said, “Let’s go, Curt.”  I’m so glad she is surrounded by so many people that love and adore her.

It was a great game and I’m glad New Orleans won.  WHO DAT?
