It was beautiful weather outside today. It stinks that we don’t have any windows in our office. But, we propped the back door open so we could fully enjoy the sunshine. Anyways, after work Liz & I picked up Autumn at daycare and headed over to Mooyah for our visiting teaching group. I got the turkey burger and I ordered the medium size fries since I was going to be sharing w/ Autumn. Little did I know that the medium size was enough to feed four people! But Autumn was hungry and ate a ton of fries.
I absolutely LOVE these ladies. Karri is so wonderful and organized and makes sure we get together. She is such a good friend and is so wonderful to Autumn. Rachel is so fashionable yet at the same time cool and relaxed. Stephanie is just a kick in the pants and says the funniest things. And then I can’t even begin to describe Liz and what a fun person she is and how glad I am that we are friends.
When we got home, it was time for Autumn to go to bed. I got her a bottle and was changing the laundry over to the dryer. I went to go tuck Autumn into bed and found her sitting in the middle of the hall on the floor. I ran and grabbed my camera to practice some leading lines and composition. I took this one w/ the flash and then decided to be brave and switch over to manual.
I liked how in this picture the purse in focus and the rest is a little out of focus.
I got down on the floor and was taking pictures at her level, which gave this picture a cool perspective.
I was so thrilled that Autumn actually sat still long enough for me to practice taking some pictures. Usually she runs away when she sees me coming towards her w/ a camera. But tonight she just sat there and let me take about 40 pictures. She’s such a cutie pie.
(These pictures looked way better on my laptop when I was looking at them and don't look that good on the blog. SORRY!)

Those are great! See how different it is to not use flash? It will make a huge difference for you. I'm so glad you are experimenting! And, fyi, blogger really does make pics look terrible. It's just the way they compress them or something. Happens to me too, so when I really need them to look sharp, I use my flickr uploads.
Nice blog! I just started my blog about food health wine and chocolate www.sarahvino.blogspot.com if you're interested! Cheers :)
