Endless Enchiladas

IMG_2364

IMG_2367 The last few days, the weather has been SO NICE (in the high 50’s, especially after getting snow just a few weeks ago), that tonight Autumn & I decided to go on a walk around the duck ponds.  It was HEAVENLY, and I didn’t realize how much I have missed being able to be outside.  Autumn kept running up to the fire hydrants and would hold onto the sides of them and pretend like she was driving a car.  She wanted to go throw some rocks in the ponds, but after my nightmare last night, I didn’t let her get very close.

As we were walking around the ponds, I noticed all these green shoots coming up out of these cut off umbrella plants.  It made me SO EXCITED to see green buds starting to grow b/c that means Spring is on the way and Spring is by far my favorite season of the year.  It’s little things like this that bring me such happiness.

IMG_2372 Tonight after our walk, we went over to On The Border to eat dinner w/ Stacey and Jared…

IMG_2373 …and Liz & Liberty.
IMG_2379 I let Autumn bring her Barbie w/ her to keep her entertained.  However, Liz was more entertained w/ it and kept petting Liberty’s face w/ it.  Autumn got the biggest kick out of that and was laughing non-stop.  People around us were laughing at Autumn laughing b/c her laugh was so funny and contagious.

IMG_2377 Jared and I decided to have a contest as to who could eat the most enchiladas since it was all you can eat.  We both started off w/ 2 and finished those off w/ no problem.  So, we both ordered 2 more.  We both ate those w/ no problem again.  Jared decided to go another round, so I had to keep up since it was a contest.  He was only able to finish 5 enchiladas.

IMG_2380I, however, was able to finish all 6 of mine.  I didn’t feel sick right at first, but then when I got home about 15 minutes later, I started feeling all 6 of them sitting in my stomach…yuck!  It’s a good thing Autumn & I had gone on a walk/jog around the duck ponds earlier.  I’ll have to do some major working to work off all those calories.  But, it was still a fun evening w/ friends.

Nate came over to say hi, which was a fun surprise.  Then Nick got home from work and we watched Will & Grace…I love that show.  I’m so glad that my family is so close and that we’re not just family, we’re friends.  I just wish Lex & Jon & Andrew lived closer so we could see them more often, too.

Liz and Liberty seem hilarious. The petting barbie just made my day.
