Tonight Mom called and said she and Dad wanted to go to dinner. We have been out w/ them 2 times already this week, which has been awesome. They went and picked up Chipotle and then met us at our house to eat. After dinner, Autumn had to bust out the brush and play beauty shop w/ Mimi.
I had some grapes we needed to eat, so Dad was showing Autumn how to throw them up in the air and catch them in his mouth.
After she watched him for a minute, she wanted to try throwing one. But, instead of throwing the grapes at Dad for him to catch in his mouth, she would walk over to him and put it in his mouth.
She likes to put lotion on herself and on us. She kept wanting to put lotion on our legs and arms. Then after a while, she wanted us to put lotion on her. We used to call her the Lizard Lady when she had bad eczema and now that it’s under control, we call her the Lotion Lady. I loved this picture, b/c she was laying on Dad while he put some lotion on her back and she reached out to the grapes on the table and was feeding herself grapes. Talk about living in the lap of luxury!
Mom & Dad stayed for a while and we watched Survivor. Autumn didn’t care to watch it, she spent the whole time reading us books.
She got out her sticker book and was putting stickers on Dad’s hands. Then I looked over just in time to see her putting them on his forehead.
He’s the best Papa in the world and he and Autumn make quite the pair indeed. They are so good for each other in so many ways. I’m glad she has such a strong and righteous male figure in her life.
