Tonight when I picked Autumn up from daycare, she said she wanted to go to the park and then she said she wanted pizza. So, that’s what we did. We stopped and got a Little Ceasar’s pizza (with some extra dipping sauce), which is always such a GREAT deal. Then we headed to the park. It was really gorgeous weather, but it was also really windy. We had to hold everything down so it wouldn’t blow away.
I don’t know who had more fun on the playground…Autumn or Liz. She had a blast swinging as high as she could. Then it was off to climb up the rock and rope ladder.
Autumn also had a blast running around and climbing up staircases and sliding down slides. However, she also likes going UP the slides. Why is it that kids always want to go up the slides?
I had fun today, b/c usually I just sit and watch Autumn play, but tonight I decided to run around and play. I chased her all around the playground and got in a little bit of a work out (I also went speed walking last night, so yeah for me). Liz told me to go down a slide but then right before I went down she told me to hand her my camera. I was already half way down and it was hard to stop myself but I was able to reach into my pocket and slide my camera down to her. I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe b/c half my body was down the slide and half was out, while I was trying to keep from going down.
Then it was Liz’s turn. We were both laughing so hard that the other parents at the playground were laughing at us laughing. Even though this may not be the most flattering picture of Liz (no one ever looks good from this angle), she has lost so much weight that she had to go buy jeans in a smaller size this weekend.
It was such a fun evening, and I’m so glad Liz decided to come to the park with us. She always makes things more fun when she’s around. We finally left the park and dropped her off at home. Then Autumn & I came home and she had a small melt down. She wanted me to hold her, but then when I would try, she would scream and yell at me. I finally got her to be nice and we watched The Biggest Loser together. I cannot believe how good everyone is starting to look. They all have a long ways to go still, but it’s so inspiring. I always get teary-eyed when I watch it. They had open casting calls for the show in Dallas last weekend, but I wouldn’t be able to do it b/c you have to commit 4 months to the show. I wouldn’t be able to leave my job for that long or to be away from Autumn that long. But, I am definitely going to start working towards losing weight now.

How fun! I need to get out to a park one of these days with my little one but she is still so young!
You guys look like your had an amazing time at the park. The last time I was at the park with my 3 boys there was a huge raccoon trying to get our food. Needless to stay we didn't stay long and just wen to another park (not my idea) I was ready to call it quits. Boys are just soooo exhausting. My husband is great with them.
