I need some fashion intervention! I wore these shorts to work today since it’s finally nice and warm outside. I walked into work and Liz just made the Becky face and looked at my shorts. She made little comments all day about how awful they were and we all got a good laugh out of it. This is not a very good picture, but I had to just prop my camera on the counter and use the timer. Liz said I am forbidden from wearing those shorts ever again, and I threatened to wear them every day this summer! LOL. Are they really as hideous and she thinks?
After changing my shorts (b/c Liz said I should NEVER wear them in public), and eating some dinner, Autumn said she wanted to go to the park. We were walking over and the sun broke through the clouds and was just beautiful.
We got over to the park and Autumn went down the slide a few times. Then she said she needed to go potty, so we hurried and jogged the two blocks back to the house. She went potty and wanted to go back to the park, but it was starting to get dark by this point so we just stayed in and watched TV. She’s been a little ornery and testy lately. She asks for something and I get it for her and then she says she doesn’t want it. I get frustrated when she does that, but try to be patient and figure out what she wants. Sometimes I can finally guess what she wants and other times I can’t. I hope this is just a little phase she’s going through and that we can work it out soon.

you need to use those shorts to your advantage and really get yourself on "what not to wear." you could get a whole new wardrobe and all you have to do is go on tv wearing those! :)

So, um, I don't think they are that bad. Maybe I need to get rid of MY black shorts. Do they do "former roommates at college" tag team episodes on that show? I don't have an issue with the shorts at all.
Oh no Lisa, hahaa They look like a skirt, lol so I have to agree with Liz on this one, Gotta go! :D Although I do know that finding shorts long enough for us amazon ladies is hard. Maybe your amazing seamstress of a mom, could make them more form fitting, so you won't have the extra flared leg? As far as Autumn we've gone through that stage around here too. It is just a stage, also a test to see how much control they do have. If it keeps up, I make mine deal with the consequences of the choice. If they said they didn't want something when I asked then when they changed their mind seconds later, and said they did, I tell them it's too late, and they have to deal with their choice, and that next time I hope they'll tell me what it is they really want first. :)Of course there's the fit that's going to happen when they realize that I'm not giving in, so the key is to be consistent in your action, but it kinda nips it in the bud after a few times of dealing with their chosen choice of a consequence. :) Good luck!
