Happy Tax Day

  Today I got an email from Don (thank you!) saying that Scotty P’s ( a super good hamburger place) was giving away free hamburgers b/c of Tax Day.  Liz & I printed off the coupon and drove to the closest Scotty P’s.  We figured there would be a small line when we got there, but not too bad of a line b/c it was only 11:20 am.  Boy, were we wrong!  The line went out the door and all the way to the parking lot.  We just looked at each other and laughed and said, “No way!”  So, we drove around the strip mall and saw this sign for Mama’s Pizza and decided we would give it a try b/c we were both super hungry.

It was a salad & pizza buffet place (kind of like Cici’s Pizza), but w/ more of a sports bar feel.  It was pretty good food and we ate until our tummy’s were about to burst (we wanted to get our full money’s worth).

After work/school, Autumn & I came home and we weren’t very hungry, so we just had a bagel (Autumn says it "bagon”) w/ cream cheese for dinner.  Dad stopped by on his way to the clinic to drop off the glass table they used to have out on their patio.  I am going to keep it at my house until Liz & Liberty move into their new house in a few weeks.  It’s always a treat (literally) when Papa stops by to say hi.  Autumn always checks in his shirt pocket to see if he brought her a little treat (like a bite sized Kit Kat or a small package of M&Ms and Whoppers are her current favorite).  We spent the rest of the evening watching Survivor and then I gave her a bath and she went to bed and I got to enjoy watching Grey’s Anatomy & Project Runway.
