Food & Friends

Tonight Autumn & I went over to Mom & Dad’s b/c Mom made steak & everything sandwiches.  We ate and talked for a while and then I went over to Christine’s again and never cease to be amazed at how great she is.  Not only had she worked all day and taken care of the kids, but she had made an incredible home cooked meal.  She makes sure that they sit down together as a family and eat dinner, and she even invited Autumn & I to come eat w/ them.

I had already eaten before we went over, and told her I was just going to keep working.  While I was in working, she brought me my own little plate to enjoy.  This meat literally fell apart in my mouth and just melted and the mashed potatoes were super light and fluffy and heavenly and the gravy was perfectly salted.  Christine’s kids are so good w/ Autumn and make her feel like she just belongs there.

At 9:00 we left Christine’s to go home so we could meet L&L there.  They came over to get the table in my backyard that I wasn’t using so they could have a party in their backyard tomorrow.  We sat and talked and laughed.  Then Autumn took Liz by the hand and led Liz into her room so she could show Liz her new clothes from Aimee.  Liz helped her pick out an outfit and said it was so fun b/c it was like playing live paper dolls.  It was so fun to have them over and I love spending time w/ them.
