Today after work/school, we came home and got ready to have L&L over for dinner. I had put some creamy chicken in the crock pot before I left for work this morning and so all I had to do was cook up some egg noodles and veggies (and I was craving garlic bread so I made some of that, too). L&L came over to eat dinner w/ us and to watch Wipe Out. Autumn was super hyper and was running around chasing Lola, climbing all over Liz, and just being super loud. To keep her quiet and occupied, Liz told Autumn she could paint her fingernails. Autumn thought that was the coolest thing ever that she got to paint Liz’s nails.
Wipe Out was super funny and we really enjoyed watching it and laughing. Liberty was playing w/ Lola by holding this fox w/ a squeaky toy in its tail. Well, it is a great toy for dogs AND kids. As you can see in these pictures, Autumn was as entertained by it as Lola was. LOL!
After they left, Autumn and I went on a quick little walk to get in some exercise. It was starting to get dark fast and a big storm was coming in. This was my view to the west.
Then I turned to the east and this was the view! I didn’t photoshop this at all…it was really this dark. I LOVE storms, so I was happy to see the storm coming in.
We only got halfway around the duck ponds when it started to rain a little bit. We took the shortcut and ran across the grass and got home right as the skies opened up and it started pouring. We were laughing and having a great time watching the rain.
I put Autumn to bed and then Mary came and picked me up at 9:00 so we could go over to the theater to get good seats for the 12:03 showing of Eclipse. We just sat and talked about all sorts of things to pass the time, which was so fun. I just love and respect her so much and can’t help but have a good time when she is around. The movie was really good (especially when Jacob had his shirt off…which was most of the movie). Mary & Christine & I decided that for the next one we are going to watch all 3 movies and then go to the theater in the middle of the day to see the 4th one so we can watch them all in one day and not have to be up super late. I totally forgot to get pictures of us together at the theater! This was what the parking lot looked like. We sat in the parking lot for 25 minutes before we could get out b/c of all the people trying to get out at once. I didn’t go to bed until 3:00 am, but it was totally worth it!
