Let The Fashion Show Begin

IMG_3033 After work/school today, we stopped and picked up some Red Box movies and then went over to Mom & Dad’s house.  Mom had gone and gotten her nails done earlier today and was right by Kid To Kid and just “had” to stop and see what they had.  She ended up getting some new dresses for Autumn & Autumn was THRILLED to say the least.  First, were some cute flowered pants for $2.99.  Then there was this black velvet dress w/ red bow.  SO CUTE!

IMG_3034 Next in the fashion show was this cute green dress (it looks white in this picture b/c of the flash) w/ some pink and green ribbons criss-crossed on the top.

IMG_3035 The third look for this fashion show was a sweet white dress.

IMG_3036 The last dress of the fashion show was this GORGEOUS white dress in a size 12.  I asked Mom why on earth she bought a dress so big.  She said it’s for when Autumn gets baptized.  It really is beautiful and kind of looks like a prom dress.  Since it was less than $20, she got it.  I’ll just need to find a cute little jacket to go over it (or a shirt to go under it so that it will be modest).  Autumn wanted to try that one on, but we just let her look at it.

IMG_3038 She was SO EXCITED to try on the black velvet dress.  She kept holding her hands up to her face b/c she was so estatic about having new dresses, and of course Mom & I kept telling her how beautiful she was and that she looked like a PPP (pretty pretty princess).

IMG_3043Then to show us that she really was a princess, she had me put on her fake red stone heart necklace and her princess hat!  What a ham!  I had rented two movies.  The first one we watched was The Last Song w/ Miley Cyrus.  It was a cute (but sad) movie.  I liked it.  Then then 2nd movie we watched was The Backup Plan w/ Jennifer Lopez.  From what I got to see of it, it was cute.  But 1/2 way through the movie Autumn had a melt down and was throwing a fit, so I packed up her and took her home and put her to bed.  That’s the glamorous and thrilling life of a single Mom on a Friday night!
