Mom had some super yummy dinner tonight. We had steak & everything sandwiches and then she also made this spinach dip and bought some amazing crusty bread to dip it in. It’s just the recipe on the back of this Knorr vegetable recipe mix and it’s scrumptious.
When I was at the trade show this weekend, I saw these 1500 count Egyptian cotton sheets for a killer deal. I didn’t get their info that day b/c I thought I was going back on Sunday, but my work didn’t need me to come to our showroom. So, I had one of the guys that was there go get me the phone # & website (click HERE) for these sheets. He ended up buying a pair of sheets, taking them home, washing them, and changing the sheets without his wife knowing. When she got in bed that night he said she noticed right away that the sheets were different b/c they felt so good. So, I told Mom about it b/c she’s always looking for good sheets. She bought some and not only are they a great deal (only $55) they were at our house the day after we ordered them! Talk about fast service of a great product. We made her bed w/ the freshly washed sheets tonight and I climbed in to try them out and they were DIVINE! Definitely worth the $55.
Autumn was being silly and wearing her sunglasses around the house. She wanted to sit on my lap and had her legs crossed. I told Mom to take a picture of us and for some reason Autumn put her hand up under my chin. Maybe she was trying to hide my double triple chin. Thanks, Autumn.
I never realized how pointy her chin is. I guess she gets that from me (if I were skinnier you could tell that my chin is pointy, too). I love her smile in this picture and the fact that she has her sunglasses up on the top of her head like I usually do. Children really are sponges and take in so much of what we do. A lot of times I forget that. I’ll be driving and someone will cut me off and I’ll say, “Come on! Learn to drive you jerk!” Then a few seconds later in the back seat I hear a little voice say, “What’s wrong, Mama? Dat guy a jerk?” And it reminds me to be careful about what I do and say b/c little eyes and ears are paying attention.
