Simple Sunday

IMG_7776 Church was good today except 1/2 way through sacrament meeting Autumn started coughing a lot and then said she was going to throw up. So, we got up and rushed to the bathroom. She coughed and coughed and coughed to the point her eyes started to water. I felt so bad for her. She finally threw up some clear phlegm and seemed to feel better after that. I took her with me to my class b/c I didn’t want her coughing on the kids in the nursery. Then she had quit coughing for the third hour of church so I took her to nursery for that last hour. Poor little bug, but luckily she’s not running a fever so it’s not contagious.

IMG_7779Her woes didn’t stop there, though. We stopped at home to change our clothes and took our crock pot of creamy chicken over to Mom & Dad’s to eat it w/ some noodles Mom had cooked for lunch. Autumn had the squirts pretty bad and had to keep going in to sit on the toilet. After she would sit and do her stuff, she would cry that it burned her bummy (too much information, I know). After the third time, I took her into Mom’s bathroom and put her in some warm water to let her bummy soak. She loved it and just played in the water and then asked me to put on some “moo-sick” so she could dance around in the tub.

IMG_7785 After she got out, we decided to call over to Johnson’s to see if Ashley & the baby were home so we could visit. Ashley said the baby was asleep but that we were welcome to come over and visit. Autumn thought she had died and gone to heaven when she got to hold the baby on her lap. She was really good at being soft and sweet w/ the baby.

IMG_7793 After saying hi to Ashley & the baby, Mary & Jessie got home from somewhere and Mary made dinner. We weren’t going to stay b/c we had eaten not too long ago, but she was showing me how she makes this super yummy sticky rice in a Laotian basket. After eating dinner w/ them, Autumn somehow found a brush and wanted to brush Aunt Mary’s hair. Aunt Mary was more than happy to let Autumn brush her hair even though she had to put the elastics in where Autumn wanted them.

IMG_7824 After we WAY overstayed our welcome, I was finally able to rip Autumn away from Curt & Mary’s house. Since Autumn was wearing her ADORABLE dress that Jennifer made her, we went over to the barns to take some pictures. I am tickled pink with how they turned out.

IMG_7822 I love this one b/c she was spinning and her dress was flared out and she has a sweet little smile on her face.

IMG_7828 Her smile just melts me!

IMG_7835She already has her little model pose going on by looking down to the side.

IMG_7829I think this might be my favorite shot just b/c of her genuine laugh and smile. I know the lighting on her isn’t very good, but we wanted to stay in the shade b/c it was so hot and sunny outside. We just spent the rest of the evening watching football and America’s Funniest Home Videos. I was so tired from staying up late last night that I went to lay down on the bed w/ Autumn to watch a movie and we both fell asleep for a few hours until Dad woke us up and then we packed up and came home and went right to sleep.
