Pizza & Ponies

Little Miss Autumn Bottom got spoiled rotten today.  She was only at daycare for a few hours before Papa & Mimi picked her up to go to Ft. Worth to spend the day w/ Aunt Sandy & Uncle Robert & Heather & Shane & Aunt Cassie & Uncle Richard.  They went to the Botanical Gardens all day and had a blast from what I heard.  I’ll post some pictures later if someone that had a camera there emails them to me (Mom & Dad forgot their camera).

I had to take my car in to get fixed b/c it kept smelling hot after I drove it, but nothing was wrong w/ the oil or anti-freeze.  I took it to our favorite and honest mechanic and luckily they just had to tighten some things and add some seals.  I was relieve to hear it was only $147 to fix it instead of $300 or $400, which is what I kind of expected in my mind.  Anyways, it was done today and I got to get my car back.

IMG_9064 I haven’t seen Liz & Lib since the beginning of this month, so I sent Liz a text yesterday to see if we could get together.  We decided to go out for pizza at a place she had heard was good.  I liked the place as soon as we walked in, b/c they had red gingham table cloths, a big open area where you could see the guys making the pizza & toss the crusts into the air, and a big brick oven.  The best part, though, was that they brought Autumn this piece of dough to play with while we waited for our food.  It kept her entertained the whole entire time.  Brilliant!

IMG_9068 We got a big sausage & pepperoni thin crust pizza, which was super tasty.  It was so big were were only able to eat a few slices each and then we were stuffed.  Aren’t they such a cute couple?  I just love them to pieces and love being around them.

IMG_9069 Autumn was being a toola-remia and wouldn’t look at the camera for the picture.  It kind of looks like she’s beheaded since you just see her head.

IMG_9070 This is the place we ate and just to the right of the sign, were some chairs that are pulled up to an open bar!  How fun would that be to sit outside and eat a pizza at the bar.

IMG_9071 They have cute little stores in the shopping area that the restaurant is in.  We walked around for a little bit and Autumn liked this Halloween display they had set up.  I just noticed the scarecrows are kind of scary looking!

IMG_9072 We walked down to a swanky chocolate store and L&L treated us to a chocolate.  Autumn picked the ghost one, which was cool that it had a design on it.  The chocolate was crazy expensive, but super good and I made sure to savor every little morsel of my white vanilla bean chocolate.

IMG_9077 We walked around some more and found these horse sculptures.  Liberty hopped right up on one and then tried to help Liz up on it.

IMG_9079 However, that didn’t work so Liz went and tried to get up on the shorter horse.  As you can see, that didn’t work either and so Autumn went over to “help” push Liz up on the horse.  We were all laughing so hard.  Even some guys that worked at a restaurant across the square came out to watch and were chuckling at us.  But, we didn’t care and were having a blast.

IMG_9081 Liberty put Autumn up on the horse and she must take after me (I am scared of horses & they can sense fear), b/c she didn’t like it very much and wanted to make sure he stayed close by and then wanted to get down after a few seconds.

IMG_9082 We ended the night w/ Autumn & Liberty sword fighting w/ some tall grass that had little fluffy looking things on the end of them.  Autumn started chasing Liberty around w/ it and trying to hit him on the bum w/ it.  She was laughing non-stop.  That’s one of the reasons why they are such good friends…they love Autumn so much and are so cute w/ her.

Autumn & I came home and she asked to wear her new Christmas dress (the Mrs. Claus looking one) and then she wanted me to spray her doll’s hair w/ the water bottle so she could style their hair…such a girl!  I was disappointed in both of things I watched on TV.  The Rangers lost, & Gretchen won Project Runway!  I was really hoping Mando would win.  His clothes are kind of wild & out there and I would never personally wear them, but I liked that he took a risk and stayed true to his style.  I didn’t like Gretchen’s clothes very much.  Oh, well!
